We have a covered & dust-proof packing division where the salt is packed under highly hygienic conditions. At present, the existing installed capacity of the plant is 200 MT to 300 MT per day. The Company has large amount of land for installation and establishment of the plant machineries, godowns, and raw salt storage.

- Fuel consumption : 22kg coal or 30 Kg wood for processing of one ton of salt
- Weigh Bridge : Shree Umiya Sales Corporation Works have their own weight bridge in the company premises. The weight bridge having capacity of 60 MT
Manufacturing Process :
The manufacturing process involves preparing of brine from the raw salt through multiple washing stages. The slurry then undergoes centrifugation process for filtration that results in the production of salt cakes that are free from impurities like iron and other insoluble’s including calcium and magnesium. These salt cakes are then dried in the fluidized bed dryer and after iodization, sieved for proper granular size and mixed with free flowing agent. Thereafter, the pure final product is obtained.
